Who can request access
- Parents and legal guardians can request access to health information in MySaskHealthRecord for children under age 14.
- Anyone legally responsible for the ongoing care of someone who lacks capacity and is not expected to regain it may request access to that person’s MySaskHealthRecord.

How to request access
Sign up for MySaskHealthRecord
You must have your own MySaskHealthRecord account before requesting access to your child’s health information. Your child’s information will be linked directly to your account.
Complete the request form
Once you’re registered for MySaskHealthRecord, review and complete the request form to ask for access to your child’s health information.
Don’t have proof of parentage?
If your child was born in Saskatchewan, eHealth has an interim process that allows an eligible person to authorize Vital Statistics to verify proof of parentage.

Submit your request
Email the following to privacyandaccess@ehealthsask.ca:
- completed request form
- proof of parentage or guardianship documents
Once your request is processed, the eHealth Privacy Service will:
- link your child’s information to your account
- notify you when access is ready
To view your child’s health information
Select the round green button in the top-right corner.
Choose your child from the menu.
