Privacy, access and patient safety
The eHealth Privacy, Access, and Patient Safety Unit is responsible for ensuring eHealth Saskatchewan follows a high standard in protecting personal information and personal health information.
The unit also makes sure eHealth is complying with The Health Information Protection Act (HIPA) and The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP).
The eHealth Privacy Service (eHPS) provides services to Saskatchewan residents related to:
- MySaskHealthRecord
- Pharmaceutical Information Program (PIP)
- Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS)
- eHR Viewer
