Information available
The information available in the eHR Viewer may vary by patient profile, data source and date range.
Laboratory results
The eHR Viewer may include:
- approximately 98 per cent of all laboratory results processed in Saskatchewan, including general laboratory tests, microbiology, pathology and transfusion medicine
- data from all laboratory information system (LIS) sites in Saskatchewan and the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory (RRPL)
- doesn't include community laboratory sites
- data as far back as 2011 for some patient profiles
Medical imaging reports
The eHR Viewer may include medical imaging reports from the Provincial Radiology Information System (RIS) including:
- computed tomography
- mammography
- general radiology
- nuclear medicine
- ultrasounds
- angiography
- fluoroscopy
- magnetic resonance
- positron emission tomography
Reports may include data from all Saskatchewan Health Authority RIS locations and some community-based radiology sites, including:
- Mayfair
- Prairie Skies Medical Imaging
- Saskatoon Medical Imaging
- Guardian Radiology
- Associated Radiologists
The eHR Viewer may also display images linked to medical imaging reports for information only.
The previous five years of data may be available on patient profiles.
Clinical documents
May include:
- documents submitted from the Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM), Fluency (3SHealth/mModal) and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA)
- document types such as consults, discharge and transfer notes, operative and procedure reports, patient profiles and progress notes
- the previous five years of data may be available on patient profiles
Hospital visits
May include:
- admission, discharge and transfer information from all Saskatchewan acute care centres with registration systems
- the previous three years of data may be available on patient profiles
EMR visits
As part of eHealth Saskatchewan's roadmap to improve data flows between electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical systems, the EMR Interoperability initiative will be offered to providers using Accuro and Med Access.
Accuro providers who are a part of the initiative can send EMR visit information to the eHR Viewer. More information is available on the EMR Interoperability page.
The previous three years of data may be available on patient profiles
Appointments
May include:
- surgical appointment information from the Saskatchewan Surgical Care Network (SSCN)
- lifetime history of surgical appointments in Saskatchewan may be available on patient profiles
Medication information
May include:
- medication information from community pharmacies through the Pharmaceutical Information Program (PIP)
- allergies, pharmaceutical notes and contraindications
- the previous 25 months of data may be available on patient profiles
Immunization information
May include:
- immunization information from Panorama, the provincial public health application
- immunizations given by public health providers
- lifetime history of immunizations may be available on patient profiles
Chronic Disease Management information
May include:
- best practice indicators for coronary artery disease, diabetes, heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- data collected for the Chronic Disease Management – Quality Improvement Program (CDM-QIP) by enrolled health care providers
- data from SHA and SMA EMRs
- observations dating back to 2013 may be available on patient profiles
