IntelliSpace PACS gives authorized health care providers access to the Saskatchewan Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

You can access PACS on the web or install it on a desktop computer, depending on your needs.
Technical requirements
Before using PACS, review the IntelliSpace PACS Technical Client Specifications to make sure your device and browser meet system requirements.
Technical requirements for PAS IntelliSpace
Where Internet Explorer is referenced in technical documents, use Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 and Windows 11. PACS is compatible with Windows 11.
Web access (recommended for most users)
PACS Web Client opens in a browser and closely mirrors the full desktop application.
Web access:
- is supported on Microsoft Edge using Internet Explorer
- does not require a full software installation
- uses the Microsoft Edge-based Web Package

PACS Full Client installs the complete PACS Radiology application on your computer.
Desktop access:
- requires local installation
- is intended for users who need full client functionality
- is available for IntelliSpace PACS Enterprise or Radiology clients

Get setup and installation help
Saskatchewan Health Authority users
Contact your local IT support team for help with PACS setup and installation.
Non-Saskatchewan Health Authority users
If you do not work for the Saskatchewan Health Authority, you must:
- have approved access to IntelliSpace PACS
- set up eHealth Saskatchewan multi-factor authentication
- install and configure the eHealth Saskatchewan virtual private network (VPN)
VPN and multi-factor authentication are required before installing or using the PACS desktop client.
If you need multi-factor authentication, make sure your PACS access request has been approved first.
